Ed Schnipper, M.D.

Over the past 20 years, Dr. Schnipper has been responsible for numerous clinical trial programs that resulted in successful development, approval and commercial growth for pharmaceutical products in oncology and other therapeutic areas. Dr. Schnipper has led development for several successful products including the first generation nanoparticle drug Doxil, as well as Ditropan XL, Viadur and Concerta. Previously, he was Vice President of Clinical Development at ALZA, Senior Vice President and Medical Director at SEQUUS and held various senior clinical positions at Hoffmann-La Roche. Dr. Schnipper earned his M.D. from the Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed fellowships in hematology at New York University and in medical oncology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
